but then he goes and compliments her, and she's stuck unsure how to respond once more. blushing, of course, because her fair skin just won't let her rest until she's all red today, it seems, and a hasty glance down at her dress. ]

I've... never really been on a date before. I'm afraid I don't know what to do.
[He had tried to study all of the polite things one should do on dates!! Who knows how much he studied here and how much was imparted to him in random lessons from Gai-Sensei over the years.
Lee's own shade of red is here to stay as well. As she takes the seat and compliments him in that way, his heart practically skips a beat at being called 'gentlemanly'. He tilts his head a bit and smiles brightly for a moment before he sets back.]

[He gulps nerously and takes his seat. As she leans forward, he leans forward too with a serious expression. Is it time for a true secret of her youth?!
He gasps lightly as she reveals her secret. Then he leans as much as he can as he responds in a loud whisper, his eyes as wide as can be.]

But he finds himself not feeling that much more pressure. He remembers that it's his first 'date' too, and he gives a reassuring smile.]

I read up on all of the books in the library, you know, though unfortunately none of them really went into much detail about blind dates in general. Many seemed to already delve into the aspect of dating, and what to do when one's already in a relationship.

It's a little frustrating, don't you think? Of course, I attempted to ask around as well, but. Well. Admittedly it was a little embarrassing for me. Plus, I didn't really want Ruby and Yang to know that I'd signed up for this.
[He nods eagerly, glad to have found someone who also had to put research in. It's surprising that Weiss did not know a lot about this, but it also helps some of the pressure to disappear.]
