Chakra is the system of energy within our bodies! Or, at least in the world I come from! Most ninjas mold this energy to perform a number of fantastic abilities.

[He looks down for a moment.]

I have never been able to do more than the absolute basics of chakra... which would be walking on water and on walls...

[ weiss quiets a moment, struck by this simple admission. she hasn't known lee for very long, nor does she know much about the world of the ninja, but she hadn't thought he'd be low enough on the totem pole to deserve the tone he's using on himself.

Well. I'm no ninja, but that still sounds pretty impressive to me.

He glances up towards her and he gives her a warm smile. He's had a lot of signs that he's come far as a ninja and on his ninja way, but hearing it from Weiss feels very nice all the same.]

Thank you, Weiss-san! [He gives a quick bow of his head, and now he absentmindedly fiddles with the grass as he goes on.]

I have accomplished a lot for someone who cannot use so many ninja arts... and my sensei has always been proud of me! So I am glad with what I have accomplished.

[He knew that she was a nice person. But he doesn't know that much about her, does he? After a beat, he asks with a bit of nervous hesitance.]

Ah... Weiss-san... Is it alright if I ask you - about your own experiences as well? ...I suppose this is the curious nature of youth at work!

[ sadly, his genuine curiosity has about the opposite effect on weiss, who seems to suddenly tense up and close off at the mere mention of her past. ]

[Whoops. He frowns as he wonders if that was the wrong thing to say.]

but weiss actually looks like she's considering his words, recalling the quick way he'd just (literally) bounces back up on his feet like that.

You say you train constantly. Have you ever... trained someone else?

Well, I am not very experienced in training others... but I occasionally gave lessons back home, and as long as I have been in this place, I have trained people in martial arts at the gym.

What about... stamina? Endurance. Have you helped anyone with that?

Yes, I suppose that I have! As a part of my lessons, I have been helping students to improve in those areas! Why do you ask?

Ooh! Is that so? [He raises a fist in support and gives an encouraging smile.] I would be glad to teach you if that is what you want! And your friend, too!

[ uncertainly, weiss raises a fist too, looking a touch confused because what are they doing, is this a thing, what is going on—

I just need a few days, tops! You needn't clear out any of your calendar — all I need is the basics and a routine and I can do just fine on my own.

[He'll still recognize it as a gesture of some sort, and then he nods sagely.]

I see! So, it will be like a beginners course. Very well! I will gladly teach you, Weiss-san, and I look forward to when the time comes!

[ she wrinkles her nose a little at the use of 'beginners' but it's not like she can really argue with him now... ]

Yes, yes, fine. The next time our classes line up at the gym, we can meet up briefly afterward. How's that sound?

[Whoopssss. Lee goes on, unaware of his mis-step. And he gives her a thumbs up.]

That sounds nice! I have no argument at all... I will look forward to it!

You can go back to... whatever it was you were doing, then. [ she makes a vague gesture with her hand. she assumes it's just more running. ]

[He nods, and his smile sparkles.]

Ah, very well then! Please, feel free to resume your own activity, Weiss-san! I apologize for the collision once more... Please take care!

[And so, he runs off on his way...]
